Masterchef Australia Winner

in Mindset

And the Masterchef Australia Winner is…Masterchef Australia Winner

Well we will have to wait a little longer to find that out. The results will come out later on in the year.

MasterChef Australia is a Australian competitive cooking game show that air’s on Network Ten. The first MasterChef Australia winner was Julie Goodwin, a 38 year old I.T. office manager.

The show proved so successful that a spin-off season called Celebrity MasterChef Australia was produced where the contestants were well known celebrities. The Celebrity MasterChef Australia Winner was Olympic swimmer Eamon Sullivan, who collected $50,000 for charity Swim Survive Stay Alive.

Season 2 of Masterchef Australia kicked off in April 2010 with thousands of applicants wanting to design and cook their way into the final’s and follow their dreams.

“What’s a cooking show got to do with Mindset” I hear you ask…

Well, it’s got plenty to do with it. If you have watched any of the episodes you would have noticed the vast backgrounds and walk’s of life the contestants came from. Some had professional careers, some were students and some were stay at home mum’s, but they all possessed one thing – the passion and the love for food!

They all took a chance to follow their dreams and change their lives. While there may have only been one “official winner”, many would have taken away a sense of accomplishment from what they had achieved in such a short period of time.

So, now imagine if all of us put as much energy and focus into what we are passionate about? Would you actually find what something that fulfills your needs?

True success in life is easily attainable for those that take action and put in place a plan to achieve the success and happiness that we all deserve; just like the Masterchef Australia Winner.

Special mention to Sean Rasmussen who inspired the base ideas around the format of this post with his ever helpful and ethical nature.

Have a wonderful day

Great post Cemil – I’m a bit of a fan of the current Masterchef. One of the things I like about the programme is, like you say, the passion shown by the contestants and even the judges when it comes to food. Not only that, but I also like the attitudes of the majority of the contestants when they’re eliminated. Whether it’s a bit of clever editing or not, they come across as being genuinely grateful for their experience and don’t see their elimination as a failure.
