Building a Success Mindset

in Mindset

There are many myths about success and how to achieve it, however we all seem to sidestep the power of the success mindset. Today’s society tends to reflect upon the rich and powerful and believe Success Mindsetonly the entitled are those who attain success. None of us are born with a surefire path to triumph. Those that are born into wealth may have an edge but it’s how you embrace what you have and turn it into gold – that’s what matters.

Many rich and powerful people have lost everything because they never were in-tuned with a Success Mindset to lead the way to accomplishments.

Believe it or not, wealth does not automatically empower you to make the right choices. You have to create the life you want and write life’s script the way you perceive it.

Relinquishing the habits of insecurity

How do you feel about your accomplishments? Do you have any ambivalence to success or do you believe you can achieve anything you set your mind to?

For you to embrace that success mindset you must stop the sabotage thinking and clinch a formula that works. Have you noticed your responses reflect how you will handle a challenge?

“Yes I can, but…”
“What if…”
“That looks difficult…”

Why did you become so powerless? These dampening responses suck the motivation right out from under us. Of course you can!

And why are you asking “what if”? Stop projecting negative thoughts and stick to positive thoughts.

Are you kidding me, “that looks difficult”? So what if it’s difficult; tell yourself you can do anything you set out to do and try before giving up.

We all must deflate insecurity driven feelings that keep us powerless. The reality is we can overcome anything; job loss, a loss love, taxes, loneliness can all be turned around.

Create the life you want and write life’s script

These consequences are all momentary and not a permanent fixture in your life. But it takes change and it’s more than positive thinking. It’s really attitude and the conviction that you are all you say you are and you can handle all the challenges life throws your way.

Why do so many of us live in our experience right now? If we’re pleased by the results were receiving now then we’re happy but if the results are bad we sulk and still remain in the moment. This is going about life the hard way. Everyday you must deliberately focus your thoughts to “what-can-be” instead of “what-is”.

The power of the success mindset is extraordinary. It’s as simple as tuning out all the noise. You know that distorted view of life you get now and again? The worry and dissatisfaction you’re overwhelmed with? Simply choose not to be negative anymore.

The only way to reclaim your power is to confirm a plan of attack with a success mindset.

What I understand you are saying here is that there are a number of rules that if followed, lead to success, including the biggy, “Simply choose not to be negative anymore.” A whole pile of questions arise for me. EG. Is there a list of rules or is the biggy sufficient, ie if we follow that one absolutely all the rest are taken care of? How do we know how well we are doing in obeying these rules? If we “choose” not to be negative anymore, does it follow that we achieve what we choose? Or does something happen in between the choosing and the not being negative anymore?

Hi Wal,
I totally understand what you are saying. I personally do not believe that there is one golden rule, but rather many. Maybe that’s something I can talk about in a future post ;)

Hi Cemil,

I love it. This is an awesome post. It’s absolutely true that we can create anything we want to create. It just takes the discipline to build a success mindset.

I have trouble being consistent with it. Some days I have a great attitude and others, well, I could use a gentle reminder that what I’m thinking and saying; I’m attracting into my life. Thanks for the gentle reminder.

I can relate to what you are saying Jazz. I think we all have those days and it’s being able to look past those small moments that really helps us grow.

Hi Cemil,
I agree with you, that many people are defeated before they even try, simply because they take a defeatist attitude, which in many cases prevents them from taking serious action.

I think a persons self image also plays a part. If you see yourself as a “Do’er” (if thats a word), then you normally are one to want to take action and succeed.

It actually is a real word Cade – I had to check that ;) . And as you put it, it is one that takes action. Thanks mate.

Hi Cemil,
Those last couple of paragraphs hit home. Its so easy to react to the event right now. While forgetting it is only an ” experience” which will pass.
